December's Here!

Well, we survived Thanksgiving and enjoyed the good food and time with Family. Chris went North over the weekend, but none of the guys got any deer. Now it's December and the snow is falling. I still haven't gotten any Christmas decorations up or gifts wrapped... but for now I'm enjoying the peace and quiet of a minute here at work watching the snow flakes drift down. There's something to remembering to take a moment now and then, especially amidst the hustle and bustle of this Christmas season.

Keegan's Baptism

Keegan was baptized this past Sunday, November 2nd. He (and his sister) did very well during the entire service - thankfully! We celebrated the occasion with family and friends over lunch. What a blessed comfort to know that Keegan is a child of God!

"The Palace"

On Saturday, November 1st, the kids and I went to visit the new Roosien hunting cabin - more commonly known as "The Palace". My husband and many other guys have been working feverishly to get the place ready and usable for this season. Looks really nice!
Mikayla enjoyed exploring the woods with her grandparents. And Grandpa especially enjoyed doing that with her.

Halloween

We had a busy 1st Halloween for Keegan! We enjoyed spending time with our family going trick-or-treating at Johnson Controls and then to church for a Reformation Celebration that was tons of fun for the kids! Of course, we went to see all the grandparents too and they enjoyed seeing the kids dressed up so cute. Thankfully we have a bunch of pictures to remember the day with!

Well, it's finally happened... I've followed in the footsteps of my techy husband and webby friends and created a blog (or am trying to!).
